Default Tire fitting on discovery 2

Well i just bought a 04 discovery and want to put a 2 inch OME lift. So I want know if I can fit 275/75/R16 with the lift, which is like 32.2 inch tire ... Not sure correct me if i'm wrong. And i need to fit these tires without rubbing/rubbing when lock to locking with the steering wheel and no trimming.

It'll be close but you should be fine. I was not even close with 265/75s with a 2" OME lift.

first thing I did with my truck was a 2" lift and 285/75/16 (33/11/16) the front tires rubbed a tiny bit on full turn but it was fine articulating. I did end up lifting it another 2". But it was all good with the 2" and 33's.

moneymike, i am looking to do the same thing to my 03 disco2. someone told me that you can buy certain heavy duty lifts that will raise you up about a inch more than what the lift says. if so i think you can fit the 275/75/16s under it without scrubbing. i think this only works if you dont use the heavy front and back bumper. i havent ordered my stuff yet because i dont know for sure what works yet. i dont want to trim anything but want to fit 33's.

RTE's lift will get you 3", Terrafirma's 2" HD lift will get you nearly 3" with no extra weight on your vehicle.

would you go with a 275 or a 265 if you plan on going RTE and later going with a ARB bumper?

My 255/85R16's fit fine with a terrafirma HD lift. I haven't trimmed anything yet.
