Haha right! I didn't realize you were running 255 85s in it. I've got a set of 255 85 16 KM2s in my garage just waiting for spring. Are you running different diffs/gearing/axles?

DiscoRover007 did a similar lift, although his was a 2" Terrafirma, and he runs 275/65R18s with no rubs whatsoever. At a 275/75R16 you'll probably be just fine. That's the same width and only 1/4" taller as DiscoRover's tires. I doubt that extra 1/8" would cause you to rub.

i have 255/65r16's on my stock suspension. i want to go with 285/75/16's. can i get that done with 3" RTE springs and new shocks. Am i going to have to trim alot off to fit these? i have to replace my shock anyway so i figured its time to start lifting. also 285/75/16's are a 33" tire?

I wish. It's kinda sluggish off the line, but I've driven a Jeep with a 2.8L V6... so it's not the slowest thing I've ever owned.

285/75 is a 32.83" tire, 11.2" wide. You'll be fine with the RTE 3" and no cutting.

Justin sells the Terrafirma +3" shock(TF133/TF134), I'd recommend it. I have them on the rear of my DII as the fronts are coil over shocks so with the spacers I didn't need them.

Most likely, a 2" OME lift is IIRC a 1.5" lift, and that much extra weight would probably set you down quite a bit.
