Tire mounted on hood
I was wondering if anybody has thought of or actually installed a spare tire on the hood of a Disco. It is popular on the Defenders but I have never seen it done to a Disco. It is attainable or am I nuts to even think about it.

there is a substancial difference between a defender hood and a Disco hood, mainly the defender is a newer copy of a series hood which is reinforced to hood the weight of a tire and wheel. I fear is the first good hole you hit you will have a recessed hood.

im guessing you never removed your disco hood. it weighs about all of 5lbs.
