I think I will go medium spring and have 2" list. I can always go more later on. I did look at heavy duty springs but I wont be adding enough weight to compensate for the extra pressure.

2" Terrafirma it is. Do the Shocks come with new bolts or do I need to get them separately?

Consider the TF +2 shocks. That way you can disconnect the sway bars at some point when off-road or add sway bar disconnects and get more articulation. I have those with MD lift and they work well. I have recently purchased sway bar disconnects for all 4 corners, but have not installed them yet, so will have to see if I get what I was expecting. I have also added the extended SS brake lines that can come in handy with the 2" lift and definitely useful with the sway bars disconnected, and you can now get more down travel where the extended brake lines are needed.

I have been looking at the purchase of the lift kit and was debating heavy duty shock turrets, although I can't track down HD securing rings for D2. I can find D1's are these compatible or does the D2 not require these?

People use d2 rings on d1, because they are better, so I don't see why you couldn't go the other way.
