I have 265/75R16 on mine with the Terrafirma 2" Medium Duty lift and I have no rubbing issues. My tires are BFG All Terrain's and they are very quite onroad and very good offroad. The only reason I have "wider" tires is due to the terrain I off road on, which is sandy and loose, however I have had the same tires on a Sport Trac and had no issues on ice.
