Need tires for 01 disco. 255/65 R16

I narrowed it down to 4 choices..in order-
1. good year fortera silent armour
2. general grabbers
3. bridgestone alenza
4. michelin latitude tour hp

vehicle is a driven on highways around NYC.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these. Looking for the most bang for my buck.

I have experience with General Grabber A/t2's and I have loved them. You mentioned that you would only be driving on road, so the A/t2's may not be you best bet, but the General Grabber brand has been good to me. usually they are pretty fairly priced as well. Some other users will jump on with their recommendation, som may even give you better options then what you have listed for on road use. My only recommendation is to stay away from Goodyear, I hear so many quality issues with them.

 

Hard to find a tire when you can't rally give it a ride. This is my first truck, so all my others have been for cars.
