Tires...
Any thoughts... The driving will be 95% pavement with a chance of serious snow from time to time... About 5000 miles/year-
Toyo OPEN COUNTRY A/T ?
Bridgestone DUELER H/L 400 ?
Something else ?
My Discovery currently has the 18" Bridgestones on it but they are shot (bald) . They came with the truck . I've only driven the 160 mile ride home the day I bought the LR.
Always had Michelins on our Expedition but they are $275 per/tire for the Discovery...
Thanks for your input !

check out some of my snow driving pics,,,
all of that was done on street tires. you may not need a aggressive tread tire if you really are only looking at 5% usage from them in off road or snow/ice conditions.
i am on 18" falkens

the toyo a/t have a nice tread pattern for off roading. they have big voids for an a/t, which is great for mud and snow. a friend of mine just got some for his titan and they are really nice. he immediately went off roading and they did very well.
I want nitto m/t for mine. they look mean!!
