Hahaha. I really wanted a set of PitBull's but they dont make anything smaller then a 35" I wasnt sure if they wouldve fit so I went with 33's now I know I can clear the 35's I want them.

yeah those are some sick treads. i might be heading the way of treadwrights i really dig some of their treads and if i can get them mounted to some BF goodrich walls ill be happy as a pig in ish.

dammit Ed, stop second guessing yourself, and just order the 285 treadwrights already. Also, can you do me a favor, and take a measurement from the center of the wheel cap to the top of the fender opening? Are the measurements you posted I assume from the ground to the fender I assume?

yeah they are posted here. i didnt measure before from hub to arch just ground to arch i can measure hub to arch now if you want. the measurements are on page 3 of this thread. hahaha

Most shops will mount up a couple of tires for you if they know you will buy from them, You wont be able to dirve it around to see the power drop but at least you will see if it is rubbing during turning. Probably will ot be able to see full stuff wither but at least it is better than just guessing.

I would stick to 265/75-16 imo. It looks real "balanced" on a D2

i can get 5 - 265/75 Kelly Safari MSR's mounted and balanced for $744 i might go that route only thing stopping me is that they are only 6 ply

my other option is the general grabber AT2's they are $900 installed for the 265/75 they are 10 ply which is nice...

def going with the treadwrights they are on sale and they are 10 ply. can get them for under $600 to my door.
