Nice. I'd like to see some pics when you get them. I'll post some when i get mine. Wonder who will get em first.

(JACKSTRAW)
Sorry I will take some pictures over the weekend, I still have to take my running boards off and I will do that Saturday or Sunday. I didn’t go with the Kedge Grip, I asked Tread Wright if I could siped the middle tread without voiding the warranty and they stated that as long as it's not too deep I would be good to go. I do Know really why I didn’t get it certainly didn’t cost that much. I figured I would see how the tires wear first then decide when I get the second pair. If all works out I don’t think I will ever buy a brand new tire again.

As far as the mounting of the tires at Wal-Mart it was 7 bucks a tire with new valve stems if you don’t get the new valve stems it was 5 bucks a tire so I had all five mounted, overall not a bad deal at all. It’s weird when I originally measured my truck to the roof rack it was about 76inches obviously with ten years of sag and wear and tear about 2 inches of sag. After adding the lift and tires I haven’t measured it just yet I will do that this weekend also, but it looks so much better. Not too high and not too low just a very capable truck.

JACKSTRAW I live just north of Denver in Lafayette outside of Boulder when you get your tires we should get together and hit some trails before the snow comes... Judging by your name is it a good assumption that you like The Dead?

Duecey, we should definitely hit some trails (I'm in Conifer). I really want to get out there before there's too much snow. I like that Wal-Mart deal, thanks for the info. If you need them siped, I have had it done @ Discount Tire in the past. Something like $15 a tire. I think you would be fine without it though. And yes, I enjoy The Dead thoroughly. I like that you picked up on my name. Message me, we'll get together.

Default Here they are.

Got my 285/75/16 TreadWrights installed, had to trim my sliders. I'll find out tomorrow how they will do off road (rubbing & performance). Here's some pics. I'm definitely happy I went with the 285s.

Looks really good. I am interested to see what the tires ride like and the wear factors. You will need to keep us updated.

Can you do me a favor? Take a measurement from the center of the wheel hub, to the top of the wheel arch, and from the wheel hub to the sliders. Also the actual diameter of the tire. I want to see how tall my truck's lift, and slider positioning is compared to yours before I contemplate ordering 285's, knowing how yours fit.

My driveway is pretty uneven so it looks like the average is about 21.25" from center of hub to bottom of fender arch.
From the Center of hub to slider is approx. 18" in front and 17" in rear (I did trim it to eliminate rub).
The tire is 33.125"
I tested them off road today under full flex (sway bars connected) and got no rub up front and just a very slight rub in back. The pics show how they stuff into the wheel wells.
Also they performed great! I even encountered some snow and ice. These tires took everything I threw at them and they did excellent. So far I am very impressed, also very happy I went with 285s.

Man those fully stuff into the fenders. It does look good and maybe with just a little more trimming I would say perfect.

Thanks for those measurements. Where did the tires rub? Was it only on the sliders and front bumper?
