Towing a D2 with a D2?

Is your trailer braked? I wanna say its 3,000 pounds without a braked trailer and in high. 6,000 with brake controller and in low. I may be off. Someone els will probably chime in with a more help

x2...it would be one hell of a long trip!
Go with a u-haul trailer, they have surge brakes so you don't have to worry about any wiring other than the flat 4 for taillights.
Do you have something to measure engine temperature? like an ultraguage or similar?
Where is the trip to/from? Mtns? or flat land driving?

I do have an ultra gauge and recently completed Disco Mike's major service list in it's entirety. I'm totally confident in my D2, I thought the truck was 6000 pounds though, which with the trailer seemed way over the suggested limit. But I see now it's less and with the trailer within range. It's a relatively flat stretch from florida to Birmingham AL. But the owner now thinks he can get $1500 for a 2002 with a cracked head and smashed rear door. No way I'm paying that much!
