hmmmmmm looks like my relay R11 in engine bay was the problem! I replaced the relay with the fog light relay and ran a/c for the afternoon while driving and sure as anything this am IT STARTED!! now Im wondering if my alternator actually was bad that I ended up replacing! i had a couple issues... a few years ago the hot wires under passenger side, where blower is, burned.. i repaired em and fan started again and seems every couple years Ive had to replace battery... fan never has blown all that well... I replaced alternator, then fan ( which solved the battery dying when no a/c was off and hot wires no longer hot) but still if I even turned on a/c for a few minutes it would kill battery and in a/m like clockwork, it would be down to 6v... i have a red top optima and another newer battery ( year old) red top still shows ok and it actually got me home only on battery power for about 3 miles when alternator went south... anyway Praying this was the culprit! i didnt even notice engine getting hot yet either but will test that soon! NANOCOM arrives today! its on the DHL truck as we speak!

you may also want to do the battery bypass to AC blower fan power input . Use a 30 amp fused 12 gauge line wired directly from battery (+ engine terminal) to the red wire on right side of blower box. Pull fuse 7 (30a) from fuse cabin fuse panel.

ok ill check that out! what is the benefit? more blower power? or bypasses the fuse box to eliminate another possible issue?

I found the issue! the smaller alternator wiring shorting to ground! 4-5amp draw when car was off! now fixed! at same time was having a/c causing an overheating. HAW while in there I saw the water pump was leaking at weep hole AND gasket! I had an airtex in my inventory I bought form rock auto.. the old one was jiggly loose! toast! so I bolted on new one... topped off and bled system and BAM! COLD A/C and NO BATTERY DRAIN! FINALLY! 2 months of florida hot sun OVER! lol. I found the short FINALLY as a last ditch effort not having some fancier tools... starting carefully moving wiring harness while keeping my ohms meter attached to neg post and neg terminal and shore as anything last place stated moving cables right at alternator and BAM went to .03! checkmate! all is happy in florida now!
