If you are planning on going off road, saty away from the trial edition, just a lot of parts you won't use. or they will get torn off while playing.
What year truck are you looking for?

It was, as I can remember, a very expensive option with a A bar, driving lights and a couple other features to make it look more rugged.

Land Rover had so many models its hard to keep up.

My brother had a 50th Anniversary and my LR book did
not show all the options that he had. I think they changed
as to what they had left over in parts sometimes.

Hey guys,
Sorry for not getting back, busy day!! It was an '04 model on the bay, would post a link but I do not know how to. Anyhoo, I ended up buying another Discovery, another '04 model with 9700mi on it. I think I got a good deal on it (again, got it off the bay) and will be picking it up this weekend. I am a newbie and am pretty excited about joining the ranks! I thought the "trail edition" looked pretty cool though. Thanks alot for the info and I will frequent for further questions/guidance. You guys rock!!!!!!!

Yeah Rover is well known for doing this, being in a hurry to get a vehicle out in the show rooms & on a budget! The original D1 tail lights came from an Austin van sold in the UK and those exteriordoor handles are exactly the same ones that were on my dads Morris Marina when I was a kid in the UK, circa 1976 or there abouts.
