The trailer wiring harness that was on the truck shorted out. Every time i would use my left blinker the hazard lights would come on. I disconnected the wiring to the blinker and it was still doing it, so I ended up disconnecting the entire harness to temporarily solve the problem. I have purchased a new harness and am attempting to install it now. I'm running into a problem with the hook up for the running lights and brake lights. I don't know which is which and they hook into a connector in the back of the tail light so they aren't individually wired to each light bulb. Does anyone now of the four wires going into the plug on the back of the light assembly is the brake and running light? Hindsight, i really should have just cut the wires or at least written down which wire connected to which wire.
