Hey guys i have an 03 Disco and as we all know there is no way to activate the CDL but to replace the whole transfer case, the question is would it be possible to swap transfer cases with an 04 model and if it is would that make the ecu act up or not?

 

I am 90% sure that you can put a '04 t-case into a '03 and I am 80% sure that the electrics are there, just need to be plugged in.

 

You won't have any problems.

 

ok thanks guys one more question do i need to change the driveshafts or not, sorry for the questions i just want to do it right.

 

Just the front d/s will need to be re-built if it hasn't already. The double cardon (the end by the t-case) should have 2 grease fittings like this. You should inspect the roto-flex coupler in the rear for any signs of cracking too. Keep it as a backup just in case.

 

DII driveshafts fit all DII's and DI driveshafts fit all DI's.
