Default Trans cooler / Oil Cooler Disconnects

"Push on the ring and disconnect" isn't working. Any suggestions?

I'm assuming the ring pushes back like a standard air hose (towards the rear of the vehicle)?

The rings aren't stuck in place just can't get enough pressure on them where they are.

<<UPDATE>> NM Figured it out. The correct tool is 'gorilla-like-grip' until the sob comes out.
