Trans Temp Light...
My service advisor called me back saying they want it back in two weeks to diagnose the light, they're also replacing my driver window regulator as well as driver read door actuator AND an oil change. They love me.... Haha
I'd have to agree with roverguy7, flickering and such is not the beavior of slow temp change. Could a ground, skinned wire, or corrosion anywhere past bulb to the case. Works by grounding the lamp.
The car was in winter weather for 5 years if its life, I'm banking on corrosion being the cause.
I think the transmission is failing...... I can smell something burning and yea I think there's a loud tick...hahahaha
If you are serious, and I wonder if you are, Ha Ha, you might get a little involved in this problem. Have you looked to see what is leaking and from where since you are now smelling something burning? What about your fluids, when were they last changed and could you be low on ATF?
