Default Transmission 3-4 upshift, 4-3 downshift jump

Good evening all, I have a situation that neither of my other 2 Discos had. While going up a hill, increase throttle and she downshifts from 4th- converter unlocked 4th- 3rd. However, once back on level pavement, she decides to shift from 3rd to 4th directly- then converter unlocked 4th and finally back to locked 4th. Its a very sudden jump that is very obviously out of sequence. In the AM I will get a video of it and post if anyone has seen this condition before. I'm assuming the converter or the trans itself is going. 152k miles at present. While this disco was a rust free southern gem on the outside, it's quickly becoming apparent that she was neglected mechanically at some phase of ownership. Thanks!

My D2 does this on hot days, and always on the same spots of my drive. Hate to raise the dead with this thread, but does anybody have a solution on it?
