Transmission Cooler Line Diameter?
My 2004 D2 seems to be showing signs of a leaking cooler line. The clamp that holds the line to the front of the oil pan where it passes is wet with transmission fluid and the bottom of the pan is covered too. The lines are a little corroded and I think that the line at the might be a little porous. I can't see anywhere else that it could be coming from. The fluid level hasn't dropped too quickly yet but it's probably on its way to failure.
I can't find the lines anywhere and I'm not interested in paying dealer prices. I also don't want to have to lower the transmission to get that lines off and back on. The lines have almost no pressure in the since they just drain back to the pan so I can just swap out a section with steel lines and compression fittings but I'm not sure what size the lines are. Has anybody done this? I'm assuming they are metric.
