Question Busted transmission cooler line R380 (pics)

so after going through a mud hole a small log managed to knock off my serpentine belt and rip my tranmission cooler line. lost all my fluid (ironically after changing my fluid). so my question is do i have to change the whole line? or can i just replace the rubber hose part? (i have not seen away to seperate the hose from the pipe) if not, would you happen to know where i can purchase a whole new pipe/line from? as i havent seen anything online. Instead of replacing with a genuine line/pipe would running a similar size hose from the cooler to the transmission replacing the pipe work? im assuming the pipe is to help cool the oil down however im running out of options. all help is appreciated, thanks!

Here' a link to a source, on the high priced side, but they have great exploded diagrams. Check Atlantic British and elsewhere, and consider one of the parts guys (dismantlers). If you have an automatic, the tranny cooler in front (towel bar) is also in series with one inside the radiator. You could splice the metal line with compression fittings. Heavy duty hose would also work for short time, you would want to flare pipe ends to keep it from slipping off. There is not a lot of pressure there, nothing like what is inside the tranny.

You are going to need to replace it, you can Band-Aid it to get by until the new part comes in.
Check e-bay.

You cant just replace the hose, you need to replace the whole thing.
If you take it off the truck you might beable to have a new one made.

No, it's a pressed-on compression fitting. You may be able to go to a tractor-repair type place and have them make some new ones for you. My local Napa makes hyd hoses on the spot.
