Here is a new video of just turning the truck on while in park.. reved a few times and turned off..
I tried shifting it into 4 low and locked diffs.. nothing changed..
Also the truck can not be pushed while in park.. Transmission must be engaged in park

The transmission is a ZF24 which was identified previously through pictures by DiscoMike..
I had the engine replace on my 2004 and the guy said it was a 2003 P-38 Engine which apparently got me the ZF24 Transmission.. Does this sound like a possible set up??

I see your check engine light is on and your M & S lights are flashing.

Do you have a scan tool of some sort to retrieve the codes?

Big ugly truck Chris.
Great video.

Have you taken off the fan protection cowling?
Sounds like the big ugly fan is grinding into the radiator or the fan clutch is bad.

It never made a noise like that until it popped out of gear and the transmission
went to hell.. Its all coming from underneath

So have you crawled under and looked for any obvious damage?

Regardless what it is, its the transmission/T-case. It will all be removed, just a question whether you will repair THAT tranny or replace it.

So do yourself a favor and start sourcing one now, to see what it would cost to replace or whether its time to get rid of the truck.
