Hello to all. My wonderful girlfriend [:@]happended to be driving my LR last week when another wonderful woman driver pulled out in front of her. It was a great day! Anyway. I was wondering if I don't have a dealership within my area will other automakers dealers even work on the LR or can any Joe Blow auto body shop do the job? I'm going to need a new right front bumper, headlight, fog, and maybe fender.

One other issue. After I first take off the LR makes a knock sounds like I just ran over something but sounds like it's coming from the transmission. After that knock everything seems to be fine. It only does it right after starting to drive. Any ideas?

As far as auto body repair, I think you'll be ok with a shop other then land rover. Just choose a reputable one. If it's just replacing panels and parts, you may want to consider doing it yourself. Just have the shop paint them for you and you could replace them.
