Ok my oil is here and my kit on the way but is there anything special about removing the bolts on it ??
not sure if this one has ever been removed before

 

Just DO NOT force them off. If they are extremely tight on a cold engine/trans I would try it after it's ran for a little bit to warm up the metal. Some people from up north have run into issues removing the Transmission pan bolts. I personally haven't had an issue and I prefer to remove/install them with a 1/4 ratchet vs a 3/8.

Put a socket on an extension and then give the extension some light taps from a hammer to help shock the bolt before turning them

 

So the cordless 1/2 impact gun a real bad idea lol

I zip them off with a 1/4 impact after driving it around and up onto the lift. I've never had an issue. We get a lot of salty trucks up here.

 

Yeah I think having it a bit warm really helps.

 

Ok so warm it I park it roll underneath it and pray nothing breaks.

oh and start hitting it with pb blaster I guess

 

Bad part is I need the hex bits to remove the plugs. Good thing my wife loves our Rover hahahaha
