@Coors - Thanks for the information, it is good to go with the trans fluids.
@Disco Mike - the transmission is able to downshift correctly and well, it's just like the 3rd (and higher) gears do not exist. Thanks for the suggestion, though.


The transmission I got had a 6 month warranty/satisfaction guarantee, and it works smoothly in 1st, 2nd, Park, Reverse and Neutral.
I am pretty sure the linkages are the problem, I think I am going to find another shop that actually knows Land Rovers.
