Default To trim or not to trim

Recently purchased the 30mm Terrafirma wheel spacers for my 2004 HSE7 Disco 2 to allow for more turning radius and no rubbing. I have a Terrafirma HD lift kit and despite getting the tire size recommended for this lift (275/65/18) the tires will rub on the radius arms. I thought the spacers would correct this but now I have a new issue..On a little over 90degree steering, the wheels will catch the plastic fairing above the steps. Now I know the steps need to come off anyway but what about the fairing, do people typically remove this piece, anything I need to know?

Additionally, I have since removed the screws () and do have 1" spring spacers on there way to me so perhaps that will help with the issue?

I'd be curious to see what the actual diameter of the tire is

The wheel spacers would make it worse IMHO. It will push the wheel out & when turned = closer to the body. I had a set of aftermarket wheels that did that, and I removed them & went back to stock offset wheels.
