Default Trouble code from my ultra-gauge but no lights are on?

I plugged my ultra gauge in, and I'm getting a trouble code P1590.

what's odd is that none of the dash lights are illuminated?

when I clear the code, it just comes back immediately. Any ideas?

Nope. Should they?

1590 is rough road detection out of range:

Rough road signal
When the vehicle travels across rough terrain, or on rough roads instability becomes evident in the drive train. The
ECM could interpret these vibrations as a 'false misfire'. To counteract this 'false misfire' the SLABS ECU generates
a rough road signal, sends it to the ECM so that the ECM can suspend misfire detection for as long as the vehicle is

travelling on the 'rough road'

So, it's normal for the ECM to throw this code? Should any lights illuminate when it happens?

EDIT: I just went and checked - when I start it, the check engine light cycles (just like the Brake light, seatbelt, etc...), but no HDC light or ABS light.

What these guys said, this is so common with DII's to have those bulbs removed (they are actually LED's and they break them so they dont work anymore) that I try to ask people if those lights come on when they are test driving a truck.

That would be my luck. So what's my next step? Anyone in the Chicagoland area have an amigo code reader?

Here's another question - would a leaky caliper cause the 3 amigos?
