what do i do when i have the security code for the stereo after ive charged the battery and stuff?

 

You wont need the code unless you disconnect the battery. You can charge it with it still hooked up to the trk.
To enter the code you need to turn the key on, the stereo will say "CODE" and then you enter it into the stereo. Then it will work. No code, no worky worky.

 

lol okay. i think ill try charging the battery because that was my first guess on why its not turning over right away but will post if it worked later today if i get to doing it.

 

After you charge it you can take it to AutoZone and they can test your battery and alternator for you.
If your alternator isint putting out enough your battery will go dead. If your battery is old/weak then your alternator will work to hard and burn its self up trying to power enverything.
Lots of short trips with a high AMP load will run a battery down. For example...you have the lights on, the A/C and rear defroster all on at the same time and you only drivemile and then turn it off. Repeat this several times and the alternator doesnt get to charge the battery long enough to charge the battery fully.
So charge your battery with the battery charger, have the battery and alternator tested and then go from there. Change your driving habits if you need to.

 

its better. i charged it to full. not as bad as normal. i was told i was just holdingthe key in the gospottoo long but i dont think i was lol
