Ultra Noob Question:
Okay I have fixed the leaks coming from the heater throttle body gasket. Now I noticed small coolant leak underneath the car. I took pictures of the problem. I need possible solutions. I have no idea the parts name/ or whats causing the leaks.
P.s. also noticed water dropping beneath the car, don't know if this is relevant.

How do you think I should tackle this project? Should I clean the grease off and then apply RTV everywhere? Or you think I should try to remove the plate and apply RTV or whatever. you thought I was joking when I said ultra noob, didn't you?
I just resealed my t-case cover plate yesterday. I made my own gasket out of universal gasket material and I also used "the right stuff" rtv around the edges of the mold lines and thread locker. I'll report back to see how it's going.
Great first project. You'll be wanting to change that fluid anyway. D1 Transfer Case Fluid Change with Pictures - Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum is the link under Discovery 1 forums, technical section, transfer case. Bolts thru the plate will need some sealant on the threads, the hole they go into passes all the way through the lip of the transfer case, and oil can come down the threads.
You'll be wanting to purchase a pair of ramps to make underside access easy.
Highly likely you will have other sources of oil leaks.
While in the tech section, look at things to do at certain miles, like the 60K list., etc.
Water under the vehicle - if cold, it should be AC condensate water, normal to be produced. If warm, is most likely coolant - find the leak and fix it. If leaking from front of engine, suspect the water pump, especially if close examination shows the belt pulley to be wobbling.
Download the factory set of shop manuals for free, called the RAVE.
