Default Which Ultragauge?

My understanding:
  • Wired
  • Bluetooth
It looks like wired has:
  • Ultragauge EM v1.2
  • Ultragauge EM v1.4
  • Ultragauge MX v1.4
The EM 1.2 and EM 1.4 are the same price.
EM 1.4 page description says:
The Beta release EM Plus v1.4 is the same as the EM Plus v1.2(please see the v1.2 order page), except that v1.4 has additional features added to support the 2015+ Sprinter and like vehicles.
So my gut is to get the 1.2, since 1.4 says beta release, and especially since I don't have a 2015+ Sprinter van... just making sure before I order. I need to get one coming my way so when I go see a Disco in person I've got it on me.

Edit: I prefer wired to bluetooth so I'm not using my phone the whole time, don't mind to mount it somewhere, etc.

Edit 2: Also, any advice on if any of the mounts are worth it?

Thanks!

agree to both points. I have a 1.2 6 months old. The mount is very nice for the price.

Alright just ordered a 1.2 with a horizontal and separately a vertical mount. Figure $8 or whatever is better than deciding I wish I'd ordered the other and having to pay shipping again.

I never had the wired UltraGauge but I do have the UltraGauge Bluetooth for my iPhone and iPad.
I really like the options to make your own personal screen to monitor engine outputs.

I have the Bluetooth version. I like it because you can customize screens.
