Forgive my ignorance but can anyone identify this broken plastic pipe?
2004 D2 V8 4.6L Left Hand Drive. Hopefully the photos make the location clear, but it's RHS of engine compartment (as sitting in vehicle), just forward of the firewall.

Hose for the SAI pump to the SAI valves/metal pipe. You can repair it with some 3/4 heater hose. Just save about 3inch of the end which connects at the pump. Slide the 3/4 hose over it, secure with clamps, and then make it long enough to route cleanly to the metal SAI pipe.
What is this broken pipe for?
