Default Under engine cover leak

I noticed a little leak coming from a round plate with 3 bolts just behind the engine oil drain
what is this cover ? It's about 3 inches in diameter with 3 8mm bolts holding it ?

Pics really help, but I believe you're talking about the inspection port for the flex plate. If there's engine oil there, it's your rear main seal, common. Not a fun fix.

Probably the round Torque Converter plate in the bottom of bell housing.
IF it's leaking oil it can be a bad rear main seal and/or one of the 2 oil ports, or the camshaft cover (lives between the 2 oil ports).
Either way lots-o effort to fix. Good Luck!

I covered my camshaft cover (can you cover a cover??) with JB Weld because I did not want to have to pull my motor again...to fix that sort of leak in there.

Ugggh. Not fun.

Can be crucifix seals too, they fit in each side of the rear main cap.
