Default Unlabeled switch has electrical connection?

Does anyone know why the lower left hand side switch would have connection. I assumed it would be light the lower right side and be a blank.

My D2 is a 2003 SE7. No ACE and no rear air suspension. Left hand drive North American

Picture is attached.

Thanks for any information. I was planning to put a switch from a salvage yard D2 there to run an accessory but did not want to create an issue by unplugging the connection that is there now.

Thanks,

Optional Park Distance Control that was standard on the HSE and optional on the S/SE

Thanks,

I guess there is really only one way to find out if it causes an issue by unplugging it. I'm assuming the BCU knows my D2 does not have the feature and therefore the wiring is just there and doing nothing.

That is a blank plate it's just sitting in to hold it into position. Once removed you can just let that connection sit behind it tucked out of the way.
