Exclamation Unusual safety question... what is your opinion ?

You start your Discovery; door locks do their clickclickclickclick at 4MPH. You drive to the pier to pick up some merchandise.
By whatever unfortunate reason, the vehicle falls to the sea. The electrical systems collapse in seawater and fail preventing you inside to lower windows or actuate the door to escape.

Is it a real possibility ?
(Just read on the news an event like that)

You're 99% more likely to die in a traffic accident on your way to the pier but personally I still have a seat belt cutter and glass breaker tool in the driver door pocket.

Why doesn’t everyone carry a glass break/ seatbelt cutter tool? Every vehicle, teathered nearby.

You wont be able to open the windows, but the door handle will still work to unlock the door. I think you have to pull it twice. Once to mechanically unlock, and another to open the door. Problem is the sea water pressure will probably not let you open the door until the car is completely filled with water.

And yes 100% the speed locking can be disabled as well as the superlock feature via a Nanocom.

What he says...^^^

I have a glass breaker and belt cutter tethered to the sun visor - small and easy to use (push against glass and the spring loaded bolt breaks it, etc).
