Use D1 Window Channel on D2
Hello,
Fixing driver's side window. Regulator looks fine so we ordered a new motor. Went in to replace the motor and found the window channel which holds the glass rusted and staring to fail. Thankfully it's stuck in the up position, for now!
On the D2 you must replace the whole glass which is about 120 plus shipping. Has anyone had any luck bonding part alr8022 to the glass, which is meant for the D1? I found a brief discussion on a UK forum that it appears to be the same part but not bonded. Could be a great find if anyone else runs into this issue!
