Default Use stock fog lamp switches?

I am adding both rear work lights and a front roof mounted light bar to my Disco. A while ago I got stock LR front and rear fog light switches with the intent of using them on the left side of the binnacle in the place of the two blanks currently there. But from further reading I find that they are “momentary action” switches which connect to the BCU to power the lights or to switch them off, not just a simple switch.

I want to have a simple “on/off” switch for my lights that is a LR looking switch, so perhaps the LR switch for aux lighting with the #2 on it? Or what other switch would work that is a simple on/off switch from LR?

Thanks as always!!

You can use a D2 cruise control switch if you want to use the stock switch locations. Another option is to 3d print a carling switch adapter that will replace the ashtray/coin drawer and yet another option would be something like a switchpros panel.

I got 2 CC switches from Will Tillery at rover guy.com. I've also got my son's company fabricating a light bar that will hold 4 lights and attach w/o drilling holes to the rain gutter. Similar to this picture. When finished, I'll post pics.

Very similar to this, but will hold 4 lights.
