I'm not ready to trust Land Rover circa 2003 yet. Too much has happened between us.

I read a post here by LandRoverMasterTech, and he says from what he has seen, full synthetic oil leaks past the crucifix seals in the rear main bearing cap.
I also coated the cylinders in my 4.6 block with Rotella 15w40, while it's on the stand.
The thick oil sticks on parts, and it takes a long time for any to drip off. Synthetic rolls right off.
Synthetic is all I have used in many cars and bikes, for alot of years (other than break in).
But, considering how bad these engines seem to leak in general, I think I'll stick with the Rotella for now.

the rotella is nice if you have buick and tdi motors. Use it in all the cars

3.9, 5.3 vortec, two hundo

aint rocket surgery y'all
