Default Vacuum Line

Last night as I changed my plugs and wires I broke what looks to be a vacuum line from the intake manifold to the canister on the master cylinder, it is duct taped together at this point and all seems to be fine. It comes out of the left side of the IM and traces back to the fire wall and over to the master cylinder if that gives you a better mental picture.

You broke one of the most important lines on your truck, which will cause you brake boost issues.
Some people have tried temporary fixes like a rubber hose and 2 clamps over the brake, but considering it is for your brakes, I would replace it.

Any tips on getting the old piece out of the manifold? I tried last night and could not seem to get it loose...

Got it fixed and she is back to running like a elephant, slow and heavy but just the way I like it. This was the second and last part I will ever buy from a dealer, unless I have to again... Thanks for letting me know about the what and it did make a noticeable difference over the patch job.
