Default vacuum valve

am wondering how this works ?? I took the old one out because it was brittle and broke. I got a new one and stuck in in the intake. The vacuum hose is too big to fit in the hole.
Can this be drilled out or did AB send the wrong one. Not sure what to do here. Didn't see it in the Rave ?
This part seems to be my nemesis Something this simple shouldn't be complicated or it should fit the hose.
maybe I'm just tired

Thanks

Default Help

I talked to Dave at Atlantic British about the vacuum valve. I ordered the valve and the vacuum line to the brake also. The hose is too big to fit in the valve . Way too big. The valve is a smaller size for a smaller hose. According to Dave this is the only part that is offered by them. He hasn't got a clue what to do. Neither do I ?? Does anybody out there know this part and maybe have one that will fit??
I am going to call around and see if anyone knows about this. AB not much help. Said that tech would check on it in a couple of days. Not Happy

It is a pressed fit so finding something to replace it might be difficult
