redsox, i doubt the truck is worth any more than a excellent condition truck.

Oh, in that case cool. Still like other said. I would not pay more then excelent. That's even with everything in tip top shape.

I would say if it must be sold right away you wont get much more than book on it, but if you have time to keep it on the market you have a good chance of getting something extra. Just keep one important factor in mind whenever you sell a vehicle, book value is just a guideline for the average going price, the true value of a vehicle is what someone is willing to pay for it. If you have a couple of months to sell it offer it for 2-3K over book value, if nobody shows interest drop it down gradually until someone does, and if you don't have that long then just drop it down faster.

I want to guess from your name you are from New England? I would say you should be able to get more than book value for it there.

So I decided to list it for $11,000 on craigslist. I got a call this morning, the guy came and checked it out, and offered me $10,000 cash. Sold!
