Default Valve cover seating

Hey all,

Installing the valve covers and it looks like the gasket is ever so slightly imperfect, making the lip sort of protrude a bit. Like, that little groove the cover sits in is poking out in places a little more than I would’ve expected. Big deal?

I'm not sure if it is a big deal but what I found is that the reason its doing that is because it isn't lined up correctly. I lined up the front outside corner by pushing it in with a screw driver and tightened it just enough to hold it. Then stuck a screw driver in a whole on the other side and pried it so that the other whole on that side was perfectly lined up and sitting right. Not sure how much sense that makes so let me know if you need clarification.

Did you put the 4 little spacers back in the gasket before putting the cover on?
