Well, I did hold out as long as I could while using the chevron techron additive, which I thought seemed to work wonders..cleaning out the gunk and all (build up). But, one thing led to another (and according to the dealer) they found out that I had a dropped or slipped sleeve. Coolent was supposedly leaking in between the liner and block. Then the cooling system was having trouble along with the Landy overheating. So, I actually had to have the engine replaced. If you ask me, I would think differently, but I am no mechanic. I still say when I had the 60,000 check, someone did or didn't do something that was needed to be done. Leading to all of this.
