Default Vents blow hot - vents blow cold...

Well, after finding out that I need a new fan - I made sure the coolant was filled - bled the system the best I can - and did the old 'turn the heat up high, and the fan up higher!!' part and after a while they blow hot (like they should) but then will blow cold for a few minutes, then hot for a few minutes, then cold and so on and so on....

It is a balmy high 40's low 50's where I am right now and the temp gauge sits at 'half' but likes to creep up to the 3/4 mark once in a while....

Anyone???

Happy Easter BTW!

You bled it wrong then. When you bleed your coolant unclip the expansion tank and lift it up on the battery cover with the car off and the coolant cold. Pour in more coolant (with the tank elevated) and then while still elevated undo the bleed valve and let any air bubbles come out.
