So today I did a ATF engine flush, replaced the oil with valvoline 5w/30 to get ready for winter, and put a mobile 1 m1-301 filter on it. I also did a sea foam induction cleaning that I swear killed three small children riding bikesand one lady who was walking in my sub division. As I drove out I saw her hand jolt up across her mouth. Hah. You're right Mike, it is likebarn burning down!

 

Well, you're not quite set for winter yet!!! You have to do another oil change in about 1 thousand miles to get rid of the leftover ATF that is still in your engine. Then you'll be set for winter

 

Hah, touche. Yeah, I'll do that in about 1000 miles. So I've read on the forums about the Mobile 1 M1-301 having a better filtration rate and the K&N 3001 having better flow. Since I just did the flush, it makes sense to use the Mobile 1 filter to filter out the excess crap from the engine. After the next 1000 miles when I change the oil again should I go to the K&N 3001 filter to allow better oil flow (especially since I'm trying to get rid of this irratating knocking)?
