vibration at 2500 rpms
Sorry I know I'm postin alot. I just now noticed a mild vibration at 2500rpms. It seems a bit sluggish too. I was guessin prolly a sensor of some type? any ideas?
Turns over good. It just takes it a second longer than usual. It seems like it only vibrates around 2250-2500 RPMS once you are over or under it is fine? I tried it in park and it still does it...
With out a CEL on I would first check the bolt on the harmonic balancer.
With that good then check the fuel filter.
Now you said some thing about spark plugs & wires, if the plugs are over
10,000 miles go ahead and change them if not you can just clean them.
If the wires have more than 30,000 miles change them.
Also to make sure that you are not grounding out with the spark plug wires
get some dielectric grease. ( get it at a Auto Zone small tube $ 3 )
I have used dielectric grease on every electric connection and my Disco
feels like it runs better.
LOL Mike
