Default Vibration when running

Hi all,
I need help with this issue. A time ago my 03 Disco II starts vibrating when I accelerate, I release the gas pedal when running and vibration gone. Last month I make an U turn an vibration gone for a while. Last week starts again. I think that is something lose in the driveshaft but a friend of mine check the DS and isn't lose. What else I can check? Any help will be appreciated!!

The front driveshaft, if never rebuilt (see our tech area) or replaced, is prone to failure. The sealed joints on one end of the oem have the grease baked out by the catalytic converter and just plain age. They can begin to make a chirp, or not. Sometimes they fail with little or no warning. When they fail, the shaft can split, flail about, and poke hole in transmission. A $100 repair has now become a $7000 repair.

Would suggest you take great caution driving truck to a driveline shop or pro mechanic. It certainly sounds like it is in the "MayPop" stage of growth, as in May Pop Any Minute. Failure have happened at 40,000 miles on some. So common that we warn every new to me D2 owner who posts .

If your rear shaft has a flex coupler they can fail as well. Usually large cracks. Not as dramatic when failed.
