RE: vibration Wont leave
Ok.... so... now I am confident that I have 2 bent driveshafts considering they both do exactly the same thing. Should I find the out of round spot and give it a little nudge? What If I run it and find a place where it doesnt vibrate so much? I dont think it is going to fling appart?? Although I could be wrong.

Here is what I did, I found the spot where the drivesharft didnt vibrate quite as bad as other places. I Also did the same thing with the front. I know these things are picky on how they are put together. I am going to call Atlantic British and let them know about that rear shaft being bent. The Vibration is not all that bad right now so Im hoping nothing falls appart between now and then.

mort, this adds to the confusion. i have a 03 96k miles. with the same exact thing.
47-51 mph, also ive heard many other disco owners with the exact same problem, in the same mph range. i doubt its a bent drive shaft as it would be probably be bent in diffrent places then others. That would cause vibrations at diffrent MPH. i dont think its serious as the truck has been running fine for 10k miles.

My shaft is not quite a quarter of an inch out of round (Off center, Out of wack, whatever). I was able to find a spot where it just didnt vibrate as bad as it use to. It is almost to a level where I can live with it but still does it. I really dontthink they should vibrate at all. None of the vehicles I have had before would vibrate other than tires being out of ballance. I refuse to think this is acceptable especially on a vehicle taged as "Luxaury". Maybe I need to find someone who has lathe and rig up that shaft and see what happens there. There has to be an answer even if I have to find it the hard way. (My Luck). Ill keep posting my findings.

ROFL.... I hear ya.... I Just found a coolant leak er.. I should say antifreeze on the ground. So... It might go back to where I bought it from and see if they are going to help me with it considering Ive had it for about 3 weeks or so. Anyways.... as long as I can keep this thing rolling Ill be happy.
