Default Vibrations, Solved

If you are experiencing a vibration that happens only in certain speed ranges, say from 45 to 50 or 70 to 75, a very likely culprit is unbalanced tires. I've had a vibration from 45 to 50mph for a couple of weeks now, and it started to get progressively worse to the point where it was wobbling the steering wheel. I just had my tires balanced and the problem disappeared and it only cost me about 20-30 bucks.

I didn't have to pull my drive shaft, or take it to a driveline shop... just a run of the mill used tire shop.

Thanks for the tip. It's amazing how many problems tires can cause that most people never think about.

That's the second time something with tires has fixed vibrations with me. The first was 70-75mph, I popped the right front and replaced it, and that vibration went away.
