Default wading in a 2001 disco

During a recent rainstorm my friends and I decided it would be fun to drive through all the low-lying flooded areas of the city (and it definitely was). But now I'm a bit concerned that I may have have done some harm (although everything seems fine). The water was never more than around 20 inches deep, but I'm worried that it may have gotten places it shouldn't be (I know I heard the exhaust bubbling under water at one point). Could anyone tell me what the main things are that should be checked out after doing something like this?

Thanks,
Brian

The only thing you may want to check are the differential's and
transfer case if the fluid looks milky change it.
But I do not think it will be milky.

Thanks for the advice, I'll check the fluids out. My center diff. lock warning light came on, and then the ABS and traction control warnings as of yesterday. Then seem to have gone out now. I guess I must have got water into the sensors or something.

Hello there,

I´ve seen Disco´s and Range Rovers with water up to the window... just "cruising" arround and no harm done, what so ever.

Best Regards,
Messias.
