Default Wading in Water and your Cooling Fan?

So if your wading in water and your cooling fan makes contact, I'm assuming this would stop it or at least slow it way down. Does this damage the Viscous Couplling? Just curious, not that I plan on going swimming with mine.

Create bow wave so water doesn't gush in, and don't go up to the hood!

And if something happens to stop your forward movement are you in trouble. I'm talking water up to lets say the Fan Pulley not over the hood. will the water stop the fan movement or would the belt just start to slip on the pulley?

The viscous clutch will slip also. At normal operating temp it is like a 20% power coupling. Cold or really heated up and that improves to 70%. Now what this guy does, might be different.

Yeah you're pretty screwed if you lose momentum, but not only because of the fan, there are a lot of electronics that can get damaged.

So worst case you'll blow your coupling follow by an overheat. Nice!!!

Then of course, there is the electronic fan, it will splash a bit.
I have had water come barely over the top of my hood, with no snorkel, and never had a problem, just need to use common sense.
