I recently bought a 03 disco with under 50000 miles. How does the lr warranty work and are there limitations? I didnt buy it from LR if that is any significance.

 

Go to a Local LR dealer they can pull the Records with the VIN number and tell you how much of the 5 years/50k you have left ...Also they should be able to tell you if all the recalls have been done AND if there are any free services left

 

Actually it is 4 years or 50,000 miles based on the originial delivery date.
Two things to keep in mind, crawl all over the truck looking for problems and get them written up by the dealer. The other item is to go buy an extended warranty from Rover before the factory warranty runs out, you will want it in the future and it can't be sold by Rover after the factory warranty expires.
