Default tires

Hi again, I about ready to bay some new tires. I have looked on a few web sites and they all say it came with 255x 16. I checked and my disco has 235x16. is there any good reason to go to a narrower tire other than following the rain groves better.

What will you be using your truck for, do you go off road at all, do you want a little better ride, if so you may want to consider going to a completely different tire size like the 245/75/16. Slightly taller, more side wall for a better ride and they will last longer.
By the way, what year is your Disco?

if you have a d1, stock tire size is 235/70/16. if a d2, 255/65/16.

I still like the 245/75/16's be it on or off road. Large then factory tire, it gives a better ride, appearance and usually will last a little longer.
